Her initial campaign for fame was a billboard blitz throughout Los Angeles, extending to New York, Washington DC and overseas to England, Germany and Japan! Since then she has consistently appeared on billboards, posters, bus shelters, bus sides,and murals, establishing her image internationally as part of the LA Skyline and far beyond! These promotional advertisements in effect, are her "Agent". Angelyne receives calls from all over the world through her billboards for magazine interviews, photo layouts, television, talk show and personal appearances, radio interviews and feature film roles.

Angelyne is a true star of Hollywood. Not content to be labeled a singer, actress, dancer or performer of any kind, her image and persona capture the magic of stardom in its purest form. WHAT DO YOU DO?

" I don't do - I AM! Actually, I don't think there's any single phrase that satisfies people, plus there's no reason to pigeonhole myself into a specific category. I always have and always will do things my own way. My whole career is based on not doing things by the rules. I make my own rules! Some people become famous for music, films, TV, sports, whatever. I became famous for being on billboards. No one had ever done that before or even thought it was possible, especially without a specific project attached to the advertisements."

WHY ARE YOU ON BILLBOARDS?

" Billboards are huge! I love huge! I am huge! Billboards are what works for me, an I love the attention! My billboards are my Agent. I get calls from all over the world for television interviews, magazine interviews, radio shows, personal appearances, films...everything! I also have a Fan Club that has all the ANGELYNE merchandise, T-Shirts, Posters, Postcards, Buttons, all kind of Goodies, OOOOOH! All because of my billboards! I also enjoy the benefits of massive daily exposure. My billboards are always popping up and out at you on TV shows, books and magazines, music videos, especially films and more! My image has become synonymous with Hollywood and Los Angeles. They inspire people and cheer them up too! That's why I'm on billboards!!!"

WHAT HAPPENED WHEN THE BILLBOARD FIRST WENT UP?

The minute my billboard went up it was like “BOOM”!!!

Everyone knew that Angelyne had made it, and was making it.

I have continued to be famous and successful and have had thousands of billboards ongoing.

I have been on every billboard size imaginable. From 12 feet to 50 feet and everything in between.

The biggest I have ever been is on a mural 100 ft tall on a 10 story building in Hollywood which brought me international focus.

My billboards have been up on occasion around the nation and around the world ( New York, Washington DC, San Francisco, England, Japan, and Germany) and it’s just beginning to get huger.

Still my favorite city in to be on Billboards is Hollywood.

Hollywood is the glamour capitol of the world and I represent glamour.

WHO PAYS FOR ALL THOSE BILLBOARDS?

"Mainly I do. I don't have to pay any management company or publicity firm or agent for the jobs I get. As I said, my billboards are my agents and people call me. I get a lot of revenue from them in many ways. I receive royalties from my records, especially in Europe. I've also done some European ads, in fact 75% of what I do is outside the United States. I've also had investors from time to time. They see the potential in what I'm doing and they want to be a part of it, so they might invest in some billboards or they may have a specific project in mind. ANGELYNE merchandise is sold all over the world as well. Literally millions of dollars have gone into my career on many levels and I always make a profit."

DO YOU REALLY LOOK LIKE THAT?

"Of course! In fact, the one thing people always tell me when they meet me is that I look better than my billboards! I love maintaining the glamour of classic Hollywood and I'm the only one doing it today. My image is seductive and sensual without being campy or burlesque. I carry on the tradition of the Hollywood Blonde Bombshell in my own unique way and I'm very proud of that."

IS "ANGELYNE" YOUR REAL NAME?

"Yes."

WHAT ARE YOUR MEASUREMENTS?

"Well...I'm EXTRA large on top, I have a TINY waist, and my hips are JUST RIGHT! ! (How come no one ever asks me my shoe size!!!). For some reason I do get asked very personal intimate questions whenever I'm interviewed for anything. When an interviewer starts asking me these type of questions I think to myself, gosh, how come I never see other celebrities getting asked these things! I seem to get a type of scrutiny that's usually reserved for politicians or heads of state! In a way it's flattering to know just how intrigued and fascinated everyone is with me, and everything about me."

HAVE YOU EVER BEEN MARRIED?

"I'm married to the whole world!"

WHAT TYPE OF GUYS DO YOU LIKE?

"I like a guy who's shy and innocent. Someone I can tease who won't get crazy. He also has to have his ego in check. The guys I'm with have to be well behaved and have manners. That's very important to any relationship. Being respectful is hard for a lot of people, but anyone I spend time with has to have these qualities. My time is precious to me, and anyone I share it with is special. After all, aren't these the things you want too?"
